Chin implants are often recommended to patients undergoing nose surgery to achieve better facial balance. In patients 38-50 years old, cheek implants can improve the mid-facial contour and restore sagging mid-facial soft tissues, thus postponing the need for a facelift.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512818238090380713.post-79551771588677403602012-06-23T09:44:40.263+05:452012-06-23T09:44:40.263+05:45who are the Ideal Candidate for chin augmentaion ?...who are the Ideal Candidate for chin augmentaion ?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512818238090380713.post-31708664082488378622012-06-23T09:43:44.624+05:452012-06-23T09:43:44.624+05:45A weak chin can also make a normal nose appear lar...A weak chin can also make a normal nose appear large and an already prominent nose seem even larger. It may also give the appearance of a 'fleshy' neck. On the other hand, a too prominent chin may give the appearance of having too small of a nose or otherwise throwing the face off balance. The end result should be a balanced relationship within the structure of the face. Some patients prefer to have rhinoplasty in conjunction with chin augmentation in order to provide the best facial balance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512818238090380713.post-22327447555174597492012-06-23T09:36:21.128+05:452012-06-23T09:36:21.128+05:45The most common complications of chin augmentation...The most common complications of chin augmentation are:

*Bruising
*Movement of the implant
*Swelling

Other possible complications include:

*Damage to the teeth
*Loss of feeling

Rare side effects include:

*Blood clots
*Infection -- sometimes the implant will have to be removed
*Pain that does not go away
*Numbness or other changes in feeling to the skin

Although most patients are happy with the outcome, poor cosmetic results that may need more surgery include:

*Wounds that do not heal well
*Scarring
*Unevenness of the face
*Fluid that collects under the skin
*Irregular skin shape (contour)

Nicotine from smoking can delay healing.Aakashnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512818238090380713.post-91104834258172072752012-06-23T09:34:02.338+05:452012-06-23T09:34:02.338+05:45Any Risks of chin augmentation ?Any Risks of chin augmentation ?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512818238090380713.post-59293659539507998712012-04-18T20:03:57.730+05:452012-04-18T20:03:57.730+05:45Anyone who doesn't have a severe facial deform...Anyone who doesn't have a severe facial deformity doesn't *need* a chin implant. Must be a guy..who wrote that because no woman would be that stupid. The top two girls were slight changes while the bottom was an amazing transformation and absolutely worth while I am sure for these girls to get their confidence back to have this surgery performed and NO they did not waste their money. Plastic Surgery should be treated with respect and not taken lightly for those looking for just wanting to look like a favorite celebrity, but for those who really need it and are prepared to do the research on the doctor who will perform the surgery and his qualifications. Bargain hunting is not the way to go as I have found that out the hard way with my Mother's face lift. You get what you pay for. I had to pay another doctor to repair the work of another surgeon because I thought I was getting a "deal" so in the long run there was NO deal. Good luck to all of you and I suggest you contact the State Board of Plastic Surgeons and find out if any of the Doctors you are thinking of hiring have any pending law suits or complaints agaist them BEFORE you have surgery. This will save you a lot of grief trust me. It is with high cholesterol starting many of the problems that undermine health. Statistics show that over 30% of the populations are overweight, 45% suffer from high cholesterol, and many more suffer from high blood pressure. But after my surgery, I bet my after pictures would have looked really similar to these since they brought my lower jaw forward and my upper forward and down. I used to have a really inward chin, but now I don't. having your chin look more forward also kind of helps with the narrowness of your cheeks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
